Ingredients for 4 persons:

  • 4 chicken fillets
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 onions
  • 4 carrots
  • mushrooms
  • 1/2 celeriac
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100g couscous
  • 600 ml vegetable broth
  • Dash of salt
  • pepper
  • coriander
  • caraway seed
  • parsley

 

 

 

Wash the chicken breast fillets, pat dry and cut it into cubes. Peel the garlic and onions and cut them into thin cubes. Clean the carrots, mushrooms and celery, peel and dice.

Heat the oil in a large saucepan and fry the chicken all around. Add the vegetables and cook it for about 6 minutes. Then add the couscous and sauté it briefly. Deglaze it with broth and cook it for about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile wash the parsley and shake it dry, pluck the leaves and chop it finely.

Season the couscous with salt, pepper, coriander and cumin, spread on a plate and sprinkle with parsley.
